Our people live and work in regional communities across our network – in Esperance, Kalgoorlie, Merredin, Northam, Narrogin, Katanning, Albany, Pinjarra, Bunbury, Moora, Geraldton and Perth. Together we put our collective strengths to work, making a difference to our local communities.
Our employees enthusiastically support Brookfield Rail’s community partnership initiatives as well as other causes they care about. We enable them to do so by offering volunteering and fundraising opportunities and giving them time off to volunteer. This enhances our community impact and promotes employee engagement and development.
Brookfield Rail also supports employee teams that wish to enter significant local fundraising events such as The Relay for Life, Movember, World’s Greatest Shave and HBF Run for a Reason, just to name a few.
We are proud of how our employees get involved in the community, giving back to their local area. Members of our 400-plus workforce can been seen volunteering at events such as the Avon Descent, regional Field Days, rail heritage activities, and local tree planting days.
As individuals and as a company we are committed to supporting our communities.
Beyond policies and procedures, Brookfield Rail’s commitment to the environment is expressed through solid action
