Brookfield Rail is responsible for the safe, efficient and reliable operations of one of the State’s most vital pieces of transport infrastructure.
With a team of 430 experienced people, Brookfield Rail manages track access, train control, signalling and communication systems and rail construction and maintenance throughout its rail network.
Brookfield Rail has three Train Control Centres, based in Perth, Bunbury and Northam, which operate 24 hours a day to coordinate the movements of over 180 trains across the 5,500 kilometre rail network each day.
At the core of the business is planning and managing all train movements on the rail network to ensure our customers achieve the best possible level of productivity, whilst providing adequate access for regular maintenance and capital works.
Brookfield Rail is a registered electrical contractor (licence number EC011101) registered by the Electrical Licensing Board WA
Our teams located throughout regional Western Australia are responsible for providing, maintaining and upgrading signalling, communications and track infrastructure to ensure the network continues to operate efficiently and meet all safety and compliance standards.
